This month, we’re thrilled to celebrate Hayley, a dedicated Vero Pilates member whose curiosity, consistency, and positive energy perfectly capture what our community is all about.
A Fresh Start Through Pilates
Hayley’s Pilates journey began in 2023 during a moment of honest self-reflection. Feeling out of shape and noticing frequent injuries from everyday movements—bending, lifting, carrying—she knew something needed to change. Around the same time, her oldest child decided to step away from club sports, and Hayley had a lightbulb moment: what if that investment went toward her health?
Although Pilates hadn’t been on her radar (thanks to some common misconceptions), a friend’s social media post sparked her curiosity. As she learned more, Pilates began to feel like exactly the right fit—and once she tried it, there was no turning back.
Finding Home at Vero Pilates
Hayley chose Vero Pilates because it felt familiar, approachable, and aligned with the vibe she was looking for. After her orientation session, she was officially hooked. The small class sizes, personalized instruction, and supportive, fun atmosphere sealed the deal.
Since starting at Vero, Hayley has noticed profound changes—especially in her core strength, which she describes as life-changing. Her body feels stronger and healthier without the feeling of punishment that often comes with workouts. Pilates has become something she genuinely looks forward to.
Strength, Focus, and a Love of the Challenge
Hayley’s regular instructor, Janet, shares:
“I love that Hayley shows up to every class with an excited ‘what do you have in store for us today?’ attitude! She’s eager to try all the apparatus and dedicated to mastering new exercises that challenge her strength and control.”

Through consistent weekly practice, Hayley’s proprioception, body awareness, and core strength have noticeably improved. She thrives on a challenge—and it shows. Even with a full schedule as a working mom, Hayley consistently shows up for herself and her classmates, bringing encouragement and positivity to every session.
And yes—her Pilates strength has proven useful outside the studio. Ask her about the time she slipped down a hill, landed upside down in a tree, and impressed her friends by pulling off a truly “Matrix-like” core-powered move to get back upright. She credits Pilates (and her strong core!) for the heroic recovery.
Life Beyond the Studio
Outside of Pilates, Hayley stays active and connected to her community. She’s a mom of two (one in elementary school, one in high school), loves walking and exploring local hikes and trails, and shares a community garden plot with close friends. She also volunteers when she can, most recently with a local food pantry.

Professionally, Hayley works in higher education fundraising and development, bringing the same dedication and heart to her work that she brings to her Pilates practice.
Celebrating Hayley
Hayley, we’re so grateful to have you as part of the Vero Pilates family. Your enthusiasm, resilience, and commitment to growth inspire everyone around you. Thank you for showing up, embracing the challenge, and reminding us how powerful consistent movement—and community—can be 💛
