Take a class with Steven Zarzecki on Wednesday, March 11, at 6:00 pm. This class utilizes traditional Pilates to explore new options for more functional movement. Pilates mat work can be a frustrating and difficult battle with gravity and stability. This class aims to trouble-shoot and simplify some of the places where we overlook stability for healthy movement. Pilates is often seen as a core workout. That is true, but in this class getting our whole body involved in every exercise is our goal. We aim to find efficient work in the whole body so that our weak spots get stronger and our strong spots don’t have to overwork. We can move with precision, and we can move with flow but finding the balance between the two is the true challenge. Explore this challenge and feel something new! – This class is open level.
